Johanna is a doctoral researcher and lecturer in the University of Galway, Ireland. She has a joint background in social sciences and public health. She came to public health because she felt a need for stronger links between research and healthcare practice; and now she works on questions related to co-production of knowledge, communication of scientific evidence, and information trust, including across social groups. She really enjoys working across methods and disciplines! She is currently doing a lot of evidence synthesis.
