Joelle Benitha Habiyambere is a committed youth development professional with expertise in peacebuilding, gender mainstreaming, and community empowerment. Since October 2020, she has served as Youth Programs Lead at Aegis Trust – Rwanda, an organization dedicated to genocide prevention through peace education. In this role, she designs and leads impactful programs that foster national healing and contribute to the rebuilding of Rwandan society. As an active member of Aegis Trust’s Gender Committee, Joelle champions the integration of gender perspectives into organizational policies and programs. She is also a Movement Builders for the World 2025 Fellow with How Women Lead, where she continues to strengthen her leadership and collaborate with fellow changemakers to drive initiatives that create lasting impact in her community and beyond.
