Jin Park has been with KDI or KDI School since 1992, during which he served for the government three times: most recently, from 2018 to 2020, he acted as the founding president of the National Assembly Futures Institute; from 2012 to 2013 Jin was the executive director of research center for SOEs and his first position, from 1998 to 2001 was division head for administrative reform in the Ministry of Planning and Budget.. His academic interest covers government reform including state-owned enterprises, development economics, future studies and conflict management. He received his B.A. in economics from Seoul National University, and a Ph.D. in economics from University of Pennsylvania, USA.
