Jessica De Alba-Ulloa is director of the Anahuac Center for Research in International Relations (CAIRI), School of Global Studies, Universidad Anahuac Mexico. She is also the national researcher of Mexico for the National Council of Science and Technology. Jessica is chair of the Committee on the Status of Engagement with the Global South of the International Studies Association (ISA). She is secretary-general of the Mexican International Studies Association (AMEI) as well as coordinator of the Unit of Study on Demography, Mobility and Migration with the United States for the Mexican Council for International Affairs (COMEXI). Jessica is an O'Gorman Fellow of ILAS-Columbia University (NY), a Fulbright alumna, and a SUSI scholar of US State Department program on National Security & Policymaking. She has extensive experience conducting research, courses, and publications on IR Theory; Diplomacy; North America; U.S. Foreign Policy; Mexico Foreign Policy; Bioethics. Her professional experience includes: Mexican Foreign Affairs Ministry, diplomatic missions; Mexican Immigration Institute; Kroll Mexico. Jessica holds a BA in international relations from the University of the Americas, Mexico City College as well as a master in diplomacy and international organizations; and a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Paris Sud, France.
