Jerome is a development professional with more than 10 years of diverse experience in various contexts of development. He started his career as a fellow of Teach for the Philippines where he cultivated his skills in management of social development programs. He further enhanced his skills and perspectives when he worked with the government of the Philippines to develop the convergence strategy, a whole-of-government approach to poverty alleviation. Currently, Jerome is the Project Manager of the UN World Food Programme for Social and Behavior Change at the Cotabato sub-office in the Philippines. He provides capacity-strengthening support to local partners in the Bangsamoro Region to address social and behavior changes towards food security and combating malnutrition for peacebuilding. Jerome holds a master's in Community Development from the University of the Philippines. Jerome is a Salzburg Global Fellow.
