Jeongmin Im is a program intern at Salzburg Global Seminar. He assists with the process of organizing various programs. He obtained a bachelor of arts and international studies in February 2023, by majoring in English language and literature and global studies at Pusan National University, Busan, South Korea. During his bachelor's, he was academically fascinated by international affairs, especially the international relations in East Asia and the Middle East regions. He did term research about the lives of Muslims in South Korea by using survey methodology. He recently worked in the Language Institute of PNU as a program coordinator of the U.S. Department of State Critical Language Scholarship Program for 9 weeks. During the program, he successfully supported American students who came to Korea to learn the language and culture. He organized the cultural classes and excursions as well as helping them with the administrational assistance. He is pursuing to become a diplomat not only to represent his country but also mitigate conflicts and connect the different cultures across the world. He has often joined the community plogging group called Wiperth based in Busan and goes to the CrossFit gym in his spare time.
