Jason Bostic is a scholar, facilitator, and justice advocate based in New York City, pursuing a Psychology major with a minor in African American Studies at Columbia University’s School of General Studies. As Program Coordinator at Columbia’s Center for Justice, he leads the Justice Ambassadors Program, which unites government officials and system-impacted youth to co-create policy; his leadership has generated 11 policy proposals and expanded access to services. Jason also serves as Lead Facilitator in Brownsville and Bed-Stuy, where he developed a conflict resolution training for rival street affiliations, and supports Project Restore Bed-Stuy with life skills and culturally responsive education. A Research Assistant in Columbia’s Social Relations Lab, he co-authors studies on social resilience. President of Columbia’s system-impacted scholars and recipient of the Change Agent Award, Jason’s work—featured on FOX 5, Gothamist, and WBAI—centers on transforming trauma into testimony and leadership.
