Jamila-Aisha Sanguila
Founder, Women Empowered to Act for Dialogue and Peace, Philippines
Jamila-Aisha Sanguila is the founder of Women Empowered to Act for Dialogue and Peace in Mindanao, Philippines. Jamila started her organization in January 2018. She has been involved in peacebuilding for 19 years and has been teaching Mindanao history for 15 years. She has also been an active promoter of interreligious dialogue since 2009. Jamila-Aisha received a master's degree from the UN-Mandated University for Peace, Costa Rica.
