James Bell is the Founding President of the W. Haywood Burns Institute. James and his colleagues work to transform the delivery of human services. Their work challenges the social control of communities of color by public systems by employing strategies and tactics that establish a community-centered alternative to service delivery anchored in structural well-being. James is a Fellow of Salzburg Global Seminar.
