Ivan Fong

Ivan Fong is an independent board director of Cboe Global Markets, a leading provider of market infrastructure and trading, clearing and investment solutions. He also serves as treasurer and on the Council of the American Law Institute as well as the boards of the Center for AI and Digital Policy and LCLD. He is a former Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Medtronic plc; Executive Vice President, Chief Legal and Policy Officer and Secretary of 3M; General Counsel of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security; Chief Legal Officer and Secretary of Cardinal Health; Deputy Associate Attorney General at the U.S. Department of Justice; adjunct professor of law at Georgetown University Law Center; partner with the law firm of Covington & Burling LLP; and law clerk to Justice Sandra Day O'Connor of the U.S. Supreme Court. He is a graduate of MIT, Stanford Law School and Oxford University.
