Indira Urazova is a policy advisor for International Institute for Sustainable Development Energy Program. Her research focuses on a managed phase-out of oil and gas production and clean energy transition. Before joining IISD, Indira worked as an assistant environmental affairs officer at the Water Convention Secretariat hosted by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe. Indira holds a B.A. in Political Science and Political Economy from the American University in Bulgaria, Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria, and an M.A. in International Development Studies from the Geneva Graduate Institute, Geneva, Switzerland.
