Ika Idris is Associate Professor, Public Policy and Management, at Monash University. Previously, she was the Director of Research of Paramadina Public Policy Institute at Universitas Paramadina and Assistant Professor at Paramadina Graduate School of Communication. Her research focuses on social media analytics, government communication, digital platforms’ policy, and digital literacy.Her consultancies include conducting a national survey and stakeholders’ analysis for the Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission, conducting service evaluation for the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta, and designing public information service procedures for the Directorate General of the Indonesian Ministry of Public Works and Housing. She has provided training in strategic public communication and social media analysis for government officials from the Supreme Court, ASEAN Secretary, Indonesian National Police Agency, Indonesian Competition Commission, Audit Board of Indonesia, Bank of Indonesia, and various other government agencies. She received a BA in Journalism Studies from Universitas Padjadjaran, an MA in Management of Communications from theUniversity of Indonesia, and PhD from Ohio University.
