Professor of Clinical Neuropsychology
Huw is the Pro-Vice Chancellor for Global Partnerships - Faculty of Health and Life Sciences - at the University of Exeter. He is a Professor of Clinical Neuropsychology - with a Lifetime Achievement (Barbara Wilson) award in Clinical Neuropsychology and a Fellowship of the British Psychological Society (BPS). He leads on development of healthcare professions, health systems, and research to understand and manage diseases and improve human health and well-being. As a research-clinician, his current projects explore Neuro-Trauma in societies in Global North and South. Having published over 100 papers and chapters and a number of books, he has advised the Ministry of Justice (UK) and contributed to various Parliamentary agencies re: Traumatic Brain Injury and crime. He works with various United Nations agencies and associated partners in social justice, including work on the Global Study on Children Deprived of Liberty and UNESCO re-training of judges.
