Hugo Paul

Member of the Youth Council, Learning Planet Institute, France

Hugo Paul is a member of the Youth Council of the Learning Planet. With the help of 17 other young leaders from around the world, he is helping the Learning Planet to address issues such as youth rights, health and wellbeing, and education. Involved since the beginning of his engineering studies in youth movements for climate and social justice, he has particularly participated in accelerating the ecological transition of higher education by creating national coalitions in France. Now 23 years old, he describes himself as an explorer-weaver. In September 2022, Hugo will launch a one-year exploration to study and spread the concept of the learning community. Through an ethnological research method, he will explore the dynamics of learning within alternative schools, religious communities, or ancestral tribes. He will share the methods and tools analyzed in a collaborative library and summarize the results of his research into a handbook that will enable each community to develop its learning dynamics. His dream, create a MOLC: a Massive Open Learning Community. A world populated by millions of open and interconnected learning communities.
