Tang Ho Man, Alex is a lecturer at the School of Journalism and Communication, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research interests focus on cultural politics and new media studies. He teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in applied communication research; as well as web media and creative media production. His teaching emphasizes both creativity and social impact, particularly in leveraging media for social innovation. Beyond academia, Alex serves as a consultant for a number of charitable organizations, advising on social marketing strategies to enhance social awareness, service delivery, and funding-raising efforts.
