Haydar is an experienced professional in Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) and has implemented the U.K.'s PREVENT strategy with local governments for over 5 years. In 2022, Haydar was awarded by the Counter Terrorism Police Head Quarters (CTPHQ) for his partnership working and leading research into domestic abuse and radicalization. Additionally, Haydar is an accredited trainer in domestic abuse and has attained a qualification in 'Responding to High Harm, High-Risk Perpetrators of Domestic Abuse.' Haydar has a keen interest in building the capacity of youth-focused projects and contributing to the multi-disciplinary research into violence and terrorism. Due to his experience, he has frequently been invited to present to U.K. universities, senior government officials, and mainstream news outlets. Haydar attained a post-graduate master's degree in Terrorism, Security, and Society from King's College London. Haydar is a Salzburg Global Fellow.
