Hala Salem Samrani is an advisor for the Dubai Government on social policies and strategies. Her role is to coordinate between the concerned federal and local government authorities to ensure alignment with the government vision and strategic objectives. She has led the development of the people, society and city services pillars of the Dubai Plan 2021 and also led the development of key major government policies such as the human development policy for Emiratis and the Education Strategy for Dubai in 2012. Prior to joining Dubai Government in 2007, she worked for the Advisory Services of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Dubai where she managed a number of government reform projects for various governments in the region. Ms Samrani holds a B.A in Economics from St Joseph University in Beirut.
