Guy Ben-Aharon is the founder & executive director of The Jar, an organization dedicated to inspiring folks to build relationships with those who are not like them through the arts. Using an innovative "Convener Model," The Jar invites "audiences" to become Conveners, gathering others who may not look, pray, love, or earn like them, and creating long-lasting impact in reducing polarization and building social cohesion. As a theatre director, Guy has worked on stages across the United States, Canada, Israel, Austria, and the United Kingdom. A graduate of Emerson College, Guy is a a 2021 Institute for Nonprofit Practice Changemaker Awardee, a 2015 AdR Fellow at the University of Cambridge, a 2013 Theatertreffen Fellow in Berlin, and a member of the ROI Global Entrepreneurs Community. Guy's work to promote cultural bridges through the arts has been featured in The Boston Globe, The Washington Post, and WBUR.
