Gregory Frostad

Director of the Safe and Healthy Schools Bureau, New Mexico Public Education Department, United States of America

Gregory Frostad is the director of the Safe and Healthy Schools Bureau (SHSB) for the New Mexico Public Education Department (PED). He joined the agency in 2014. Over the past two years the SHSB has developed a social and emotional framework for the state and is currently supporting its statewide implementation. Gregory and his team are also working to develop guidance on trauma responsive practices to better support at risk students in New Mexico schools. Gregory received a B.J. from the University of Missouri, M.A.s from the University of New Mexico and Western New Mexico University and an M.S. from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology.
