Greg Muttitt is an Honorary Research Fellow at University College London and a Senior Associate at the International Institute for Sustainable Development. He is also a member of the Extraction Equity Working Group. His research expertise covers just, orderly, and equitable transitions away from fossil fuels in energy systems. Greg's work bridges science, economics, and justice, with three thematic focus areas: The science of fossil fuel phaseout, Equitable fossil fuel phaseout and Economic transition in countries dependent on fossil fuels. Greg works internationally, and has already worked on, Iraq, Canada, India, US, Norway, Democratic Republic of Congo, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan. I live in Gloucestershire in the UK. He has published many peer-reviewed journal articles, reports and policy briefings. Greg's book Fuel on the Fire: Oil and politics in occupied Iraq, was published by Random House in 2011.
