Great Udochi is a Master of Public Policy candidate at the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy, specializing in socio-economic development policies and international/global public policy with a focus on European migration policies. As one of the ten migrant youth selected across Europe to participate in the "Gender Justice Beyond Borders Leadership Program", his current project involves addressing gender-based violence based on the lived experiences of migrants, calling for the prevention, mitigation, and response of gender-based violence in the context of migration. He previously worked at the German Institute for Global and Area Studies (GIGA) on a novel research project that measured, compared, and documented migration policies across Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Great holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the University of Uyo, Nigeria, and had over two years of experience working on human rights issues in Nigeria's civil society sector before his move to Europe.
