Associate Professor, Beijing Normal-Hong Kong Baptist University, China

Geuntae Park is an associate professor at the School of Culture and Creativity, Beijing Normal University–Hong Kong Baptist University (BNBU), in Zhuhai. His research interests include museum planning, exhibition development, cultural spaces and creative industries, culture-led urban strategies, museum and heritage management, and public art and architecture in Asian contexts. Geuntae is currently working on a monograph on the adaptive reuse of industrial heritage in Chinese creative industry parks. He previously served as a curator of architecture at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea, the country’s only national museum dedicated to art, design, and architecture. Geuntae curated the Young Architects Program from 2014 to 2016, as well as several exhibitions of internationally recognized Korean architects. Before joining BNBU, he was an associate professor at the School of Art and Design, Guangdong University of Technology. Geuntae has published widely in peer-reviewed academic journals.
