Gayathri Sewwandi Heetiarachchi Gamage is a trainer and a consultant to multiple civil society organizations that work for peace and justice in Sri Lanka. Some of her recent projects include working as a trainer and curriculum designer for six trainings of trainers under the Heal the Past: Build the Future program of the Office for National Unity and Reconciliation of Sri Lanka, moderator for seven focus group discussions under varieties of peace research of Omea University, Sweden, and technical advisor for Reflection of Civil Society Efforts for Peace in post-war Sri Lanka, at Neelan Tiruchelvam Trust in Sri Lanka. Prior to her current engagements, she worked as an activist and program personnel for organizations working for peace and justice in Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, and countries in Africa for ten years. Gayathri holds a bachelor's degree in peace and conflict resolution from the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, a master's degree in global politics from Ateneo de Manila University, Philippines, and a master's degree in international peace studies from the University for Peace, Costa Rica.
