Fred Musisi works closely with the department of education for the Kingdom of Buganda on education policy. He is also a senior lecturer at Muteesa Royal University. He joined the university in 2008. As a teacher trainer, he is interested in exploring the different mechanisms teachers could employ in providing relevant pedagogical styles in their teaching given the fact that quality instruction is dependent on pedagogy. His projects include research studies on reimagining teacher education, pedagogy styles in early childhood education, the impact of stress on early childhood learners and homeschooling during Covid-19. He holds a Diploma in Education of Kyambogo University, Uganda; a Bachelor in Education and an M.A from Makerere University, Uganda; and a Ph.D. from Nelson Mandela University, South Africa.
