Fariba Mosleh
Artistic Co-Director, Curator, Anthropologist, ArtSocialSpace Brunnenpassage Vienna, Austria
Fariba Mosleh is currently the artistic co-director of ArtSocialSpace Brunnenpassage Vienna, as well as a curator and anthropologist. She specializes in the production and curation of transcultural, cross-genre, co-creative and anti-discriminatory artistic practices with a focus on performance and visual arts. Her expertise lies in promoting diversity and engaging with pluralistic societies. In addition to her institutional curatorial roles, Fariba works as a freelance cultural manager. She is a member of juries and advisory boards, including the newly established advisory board of the Vienna Festival. Her work in the arts has taken her to Vienna, New York, Taipei and Brussels, among other places. In 2024, Fariba programmed the Open Water Dialogues for the European Capital of Culture Bad Ischl Salzkammergut. She also founded and directed studioOne – Association for Art and Culture Projects. StoryTelling:Europe!, a project she curated, won the Austrian European State Prize 2023 in the Art & Culture category. She holds degrees in cultural anthropology, sinology, and cultural management from universities in Vienna, Guangzhou, and Barcelona. Fariba is a Salzburg Global Fellow who participated in the program Creating Futures: Art of Narrative in 2025.
