Farai Ncube serves as regional arts director – Africa at the British Council where she currently oversees 16 countries across Africa. A dynamic and visionary leader in arts, culture and creative economy in Africa, she brings a wealth of 10 years’ experience and leads in key areas such as program design thinking, strategy design, team leadership, and partnership development. In the realm of strategy design for the cultural and creative industries (CCI), she continuously demonstrates a unique blend of shared value creation, innovation, creativity, and impact. By identifying opportunities for collaboration, investment, and innovation, she endeavors to enhance the economic viability of the cultural and creative industries while celebrating and preserving the rich cultural expressions and heritage of Africa. She notably led various successful programs and partnerships which have contributed towards building Africa cultural and creative economies through leadership, ecosystem, and Institutional support programs.
