Emily Hancock is the Program Officer at Resilient Foundation, a Netherlands-based non-profit which funds and produces visionary storytelling that drives collective action towards a resilient world. The Foundation operates on the principle that the narratives we tell each other today will shape the world of tomorrow. At Resilient Foundation, Emily designs and manages the Foundation's programs, which span from film funding to impact campaigns to capacity-building work, and cover topics including the role of mining in the green transition, blue carbon ecosystems, and plastic pollution. Emily holds a BA in History from the University of Oxford, and an MSc in Sociology and Policy from the University of Amsterdam, where she focused her research on how narratives and education systems can (de)construct colonial power structures.
