Em Hahn is a teaching assistant and works on the university staff at Sciences Po, Paris. They have contributed to various missions in policy analysis & research with a focus on anti-discrimination policy and gender-based violence (for the OECD on LGBTI inclusion/ethnic minorities; NGO/university research). After a 6-month interruption due to severe health issues while being a T.A., Em took on a position as a university administrator, all while continuing their prior societal commitments via their volunteer work as regional co-president of the French NGO L'Autre Cercle. In this capacity, they are currently co-leading the creation of an employer guide for the inclusion of trans and non-binary people, part of the piloting committee for an annual AC LGBTI employment survey in cooperation with a statistical agency and preparing to pilot NGO advocacy even more effectively. Em also has a long-standing commitment to combatting GBV/IPV & improving child protective services, policy areas they believe are still critically underserved and deserve better-crafted public policy as well as a much higher priority on the political agenda. She has completed an M.P.P. (Master of Public Policy). at Sciences Po Paris (cum laude), with a focus on in Social Policy and in Youth Policy (EHESP).
