Elias Forneris

Elias Forneris leads Research Editorial at the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) in the United Kingdom, the world's oldest think tank in defence and security studies. He edits reports from RUSI researchers based in London, Brussels, Nairobi, and around the world. A historian of French and Belgian background, his research focuses on political cooperation between Britain, France, and Belgium today and during the Second World War. He is a published scholar on political thought in exile. He sits on the Editorial Board of The Tocqueville Review, a journal dedicated to studying democratic processes on both sides of the Atlantic. He holds a doctorate from the University of Cambridge and degrees from Columbia University and Sciences Po Paris.
