Eili works as director of the Green Transition Department at the new Ministry of Climate in Estonia. Her previous experience as the deputy strategy director at the Government Office and leading the process of the country's long term development strategy "Estonia 2035" and strategic planning reform helps her now to coordinate the implementation of the green transition in Estonia. She and her team are looking for innovative ways for involving public administration, local governments, and the private sector into the implementation of the Green Transition Action Plan and raising awareness on environmental and climate issues. Eili has also been working with global sustainable development goals and UN Agenda 2030 coordination at the central government level. She is also taking part in European Sustainable Development Network (ESDN) and is a Fellow of Salzburg Global, where she has also been a mentor in Emerging Urban Leaders program and Public Policy New Voices Europe program. Eili holds a MSc degree in Economics.
