Ed Lewin leads a global team of dedicated government and public affairs professionals, representing the LEGO® brand in key capitals and markets around the world. Ed and the team advocate for the importance of upholding children's right to play, embedding children's wellbeing in digital policy, and for enabling innovative policies on tackling environmental challenges including developing sustainable materials. In 2024, Ed and the team successfully campaigned for UN recognition of the importance of play, with June 11 now established as World Play Day - a resolution co-sponsored by over 135 governments. Ed joined The LEGO Group in 2020 having spent over 10 years working for Hewlett Packard in a variety of roles. He has spent his career in the field of Government & Public Affairs having worked in the British parliament, at the UK Labour party, and in industry. Ed is on the board of Trustees of the 'Holocaust Educational Trust' and healthcare advocacy charity 'Beyond Celiac'. He lives in London with his wife Charlene, four children, and their golden retriever.
