Eddy Lin is a Lloyd M. Robbins J.S.D. fellow at UC Berkeley Law, California, US, and a fellow at the Center on Global Democracy at Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, US. Eddy’s research focuses on the intersection of law, democracy, and technology. He also serves as deputy chair of the Youth Advisory Committee of Taiwan’s Executive Yuan (Cabinet) and as a board member of the Lee Teng-hui Foundation. Previously, Eddy led public policy strategy for Amazon in Taiwan and drove XR and AI initiatives at Meta across the Asia-Pacific region. As the founding managing director of the Taiwan Youth Association for Democracy, Eddy initiated the “Civil Rights for 18” constitutional amendment campaign to lower the voting age. He holds both an LL.B. and M.A. from National Taiwan University, and an LL.M. from the University of Pennsylvania, US.
