Duong Vu

Duong Vu is the Associate Regional Director for Alive & Thrive at FHI 360, where she leads strategic partnerships, program growth, and business development to improve maternal, infant, young child, and adolescent nutrition across East Asia Pacific. Duong counts on her decade of experience in chairing the Scaling Up Nutrition Civil Society Alliance in Viet Nam, building the network of Human Milk Banks, Centers of Excellence of Breastfeeding benefiting one in five babies born in Viet Nam, Laos, Cambodia, and advocating for breastfeeding – friendly workplace, maternity protection and health policies. Duong led efforts to engage AI start-ups to develop digital marketing monitoring applications, which expanded from Viet Nam to nine countries. Duong is a Knowledge Fellow with the Early Childhood Development Action Network and Health Equity Initiative Fellow, where she advocated for free early childhood education and building safe and nutritious preschools in industrial zones in Viet Nam.
