Diane Faith Figueroa is the Director for Innovative Finance, Asia-Pacific at Rare, Inc., an international NGO that addresses environmental challenges through behaviorally informed solutions. She plays a key role in advancing Rare’s efforts to mobilize capital for natural resource management and coastal community resilience. Diane is actively involved in the implementation of the world’s first small-scale fishery impact bond in Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia, manages the pilot rollout of a weather-index-based parametric insurance program for small-scale fishers in the Philippines, and oversees the Philippines component of a four-country Asian Development Bank project on coral reef insurance. Previously, she spent 17 years at the Bank of the Philippine Islands, spanning roles in consumer banking, corporate credit, sustainability, and corporate social responsibility.
