Déline Petrone works as a graphic facilitator doing generative scribing. Her professional career has been interwoven with visual language,and has taken her from scenographer and landscape architect in public and commercial area to graphic facilitation. Her interests cross the social art of generative scribing, environment, art in communication. She is now working with a team of professionals and researchers, based at Université du Québec à Rimouski (Canada) that works on Climate and action research. The work focuses on three pillars which are the arts, decolonization and education. She is involved as a scribe to address in particular decolonization within this climate change research context that includes Indigenous and non-Indigenous partnerships. Her role by scribing is to help addressing the long history of mistrust that still hinder relationship between Indigenous and non-indigenous people.
