Deeksha is the provost of the School of Global leadership, a state of the art institution being established by the BEST Innovation University together with India Foundation in India. Previously, Deeksha has been the deputy director of India Foundation. Trained as an engineer with expertise in strategy and financial analysis, she possesses extensive experience across a diverse portfolio of consulting and advisory services. As a scholar, Deeksha's research focuses on the geopolitics of the Indian Ocean Region (IOR) and the impact of development finance on economic sustainability within IOR countries. She has edited a volume on the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) and authored numerous papers and articles addressing globally significant contemporary issues. She is also an alumna of the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) USA and a Salzburg Global Fellow.
