Danna Giraldo is the Corporate Partnerships Coordinator at WWF Colombia, where she leads the organization’s private sector and financial engagement strategy. With over a decade of experience in sustainability, corporate engagement, resource mobilization, and impact investment, she has worked on projects addressing poverty reduction, migration, and environmental conservation. At WWF, her focus is on mobilizing resources for global conservation goals, articulating and designing multi-stakeholder alliances, and driving sectoral transformation toward sustainable practices. She currently co-leads the development of an innovative parametric water insurance model that links risk management with ecosystem conservation and resilience. Danna has represented WWF Colombia at international forums including COP16 and was selected for the Women Leaders in Conservation program at the Center for Protected Area Management, Colorado State University. She holds a Master’s in Social Innovation and Sustainable Development from the University of Verona, a specialization in Social Development Management and a degree in Industrial Engineering.
