Daniel Stid is the Executive Director at Lyceum Labs, a nonprofit that seeks to reimagine and revitalize the work of politicians in the U.S. He also advises philanthropists seeking to strengthen democracy, pluralism, and civic life. Daniel's blog, The Art of Association, explores the interplay of civil society, philanthropy, and democracy in America. Previously, he was the inaugural director of the Hewlett Foundation's U.S. Democracy Program, a partner at the Bridgespan Group, a management consultant at BCG, and a congressional fellow on the staff of the Majority Leader in the U.S. House of Representatives. Daniel has a B.A. from Hope College, an M.Phil. in politics from Oxford University, and a Ph.D. in government from Harvard University.
