Dana Krisitawan is a lecturer at Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Banyuwangi Indonesia. Dana is pursuing his Ph.D. at the University of Newcastle, Australia. His research is focused on English language education and peace education in Indonesia. Dana intends to innovate peace education in the EFL context as a researcher. His last publication related the peace education and conflict prevention, entitled: "Reframing Readers Theatre for teaching EFL: infusing values for peace and conflict prevention for teacher professional development in Indonesian Islamic schools' settings." In addition, he co-founded the Global Youth and Peace Education Movement Indonesia as a peace activist.
