Dalia Kandiyoti is professor of English at City University of New York, the College of Staten Island. She is the author of the books The Converso's Return: Conversion and Sephardi History in Contemporary Literature and Culture (Stanford UP) and Migrant Sites: America, Place, and Diaspora Literatures (Dartmouth/New England) and co-editor of the volume Reparative Citizenship for Sephardi Descendants (Berghahn) and co-creator of an oral history project on Spanish and Portuguese citizenship for Sephardi Jews. She is also the author of articles on Latina/o/x, transamerican, Sephardi, and diaspora literatures. She was awarded an National Endowment of Humanities Grant for Faculty for her work on citizenship and oral history in the Americas.
