Cristina Gueco Martin is the Senior Engagement and Outreach Manager at the Global Apprenticeship Network (GAN), where she supports global initiatives to promote work-based learning and employability. With a background in international policy, communications and stakeholder engagement, Cristina drives GAN’s mission to connect business leaders and policymakers in advancing apprenticeships and skills development across sectors and countries. She plays a pivotal role in amplifying GAN’s impact through strategic outreach, partnerships, and advocacy. Her work supports inclusive workforce development and bridges the gap between education and employment by fostering collaboration. With a tripartite cultural background representing the US, the Philippines and Switzerland, Cristina's passion lies in working towards shared values. She holds degrees from the University of California and Middlebury College. Her previous experience includes working with leading financial institutions in Africa and on human rights issues to embed Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) in financial activities at the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI). A mom of 3 Gen Zers, she is passionate about the topic of multi-generational workforces and looks forward to shaping opportunities for the next generation.
