Senior International Economist
Colin Huerter is a Senior Economist in the Office of International Affairs of the U.S. Treasury Department. In his current role in the Office of Sustainable Infrastructure, he leads U.S. engagement on the Indonesia Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP), Vietnam JETP, and broader efforts around country platforms supporting energy transition. Prior to this, he was posted in the Philippines as an Advisor to the U.S. Executive Director of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). Since joining the Treasury Department in 2014, Colin has also served as the staff lead on ADB, the desk officer covering West Africa, and on detail assignments at USAID and the U.S. Embassy in Accra, Ghana. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Colorado, Boulder and an M.P.P. from Georgetown University's McCourt School of Public Policy.
