Chris is Executive Vice President and London Managing Partner of Kreab Worldwide, a global strategic communications advisory firm with 500 consultants in 30 countries. With over 30 years' experience advising clients across a range of sectors, he originally trained as a journalist, covering the UK Parliament, then writing and broadcasting for The Financial Times, The Economist and the BBC World Service from Latin America. Chris has served on four executive boards: Sellafield Ltd, Europe's largest and most complex nuclear site, foreign policy think-tank Salzburg Global, a major international welfare to work provider, and the Executive Committee of Kreab Worldwide. Chris specialises in crisis communications and reputation management and is featured in the Spear's 500 2025 guide to reputation managers and lawyers as a Recommended Provider. His clients have included The Government of Cyprus, Qatar and The Committee for the Delivery of the World Cup, Clifford Chance LLP, Fragomen LLP, Novalpina Capital, Mitsui & Co, ABBA, Swedbank, Atlas Copco, Rolls Royce, AES, AGC Chemicals, S.D. Guthrie, Trina Solar, the Association of Cypriot Banks and the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission, amongst others. Chris chairs the Ad Hoc Council, a membership group founded in 1975 to bring senior private sector representatives together with key European policy makers in four annual meetings held in Brussels, London, Paris and Berlin. Chris is an experienced NED and Trustee, having served on the board of the Nuclear Industries Association, and several UK charities. He currently chairs UK NGO Meningitis Now. Chris was selected to stand as a UK Labour Party Parliamentary candidate for the seat of Arundel and South Downs in the 2024 General Election.
