Christopher Hibma

Founder and Director, The Enclave, United States of America

Christopher Hibma is the founder and director of The Enclave; a global residency program built on reciprocal philanthropy. He is also the interim co-executive director for HB Studio and the founding chair of the board of trustees for Zoukak, in Beirut, a horizontal theatre collective committed to artistic practice as a form of social and political engagement. He serves as creative ambassador for New York’s Under the Radar Festival, is on the advisory board for Catapult Opera and recently concluded a term on the National Advisory Council for Creative Capital. He is a member of the Guild of Future Architects and Regenerative Media Lab. Previously, Christopher was the global director of Videos for Change; and in his role as the director of Sundance Institute’s theatre program, he built one of the world’s most diverse rosters of artists and created multi-disciplinary artist residencies all over the world. Christopher worked to expand the program’s cultural impact outside the US, with an emphasis on storytelling from East Africa and West Asia/North Africa.
