Christine Goussous leads Global Nomads Group's regional office in Amman, Jordan. She began her career with Global Nomads Group as a community associate, offering technical support and coordinating video calls for classrooms connecting across different locations and time zones. After a time as partnerships manager with Humanitas Technologies, testing a new product for the startup in Jordan, Christine rejoined Global Nomads Group again as regional director in 2019, based in Amman, managing the organization's operations in the region. Part of a multinational family, Christine navigated cultural differences from her earliest days. She recalls moments when knowing more about someone's background and experience opened channels for understanding. Though she was preparing for a career in architecture, Christine felt called to youth advocacy. She was selected as a Goalkeeper Youth Action Accelerator in 2019, to add momentum toward U.N. Sustainable Development Goals. Passionate about youth empowerment and mobilization, and using technology to expose young people to diverse perspectives and experiences, Christine engages young people in program development and implementation knowing their relationship to it makes all the difference in the world.
