Christopher S. Harris is a Professor of Communication in the Department of Data, Media, & Design at Nevada State University. His research interests include fine-de-siècle rap music and neo-soul, critical pedagogy, media portrayals of ethnicity/race, Black study & fugitivity, and the relationship/interplay between power and discourse in contemporary U.S. American society.
