Cherry Than Tun is currently a researcher at Tagaung Institute of Political Studies, focussing on security settings/landscape, political transition, ethnic politics, and armed conflicts in Myanmar. Cherry is also one of the co-founders of Yangon Institute (YI), which researches international relations/regional politics, including China studies. To create a peaceful and influential community, she is creating short documentaries/stories with a local youth production team to transform social-negative habits with the help of Quantum techniques. Cherry is passionate about unlocking peace from a man's inner world to the outer world to mitigate socioeconomic suffering in conflict-affected regions, unfolding the essence of peace to build a robust society.
