Cecilie Cave is a program manager at the European Commission Directorate-General for Education and Culture in the Directorate for Culture, Multilingualism and Communication, Culture Programme and Actions Unit. Her main responsibilities include the literary translation strand and issues of third country participation within the framework of the Culture Programme as well as the dissemination and exploitation of project results, and public relations. Her professional background is in the higher education sector with responsibilities for EU-supported research -and educational projects in the area of migration and intercultural studies. Ms. Cave was educated in the United Kingdom, Canada and Norway in the fields of journalism studies and philosophy (B.A. and M.A. level).
