Catherine C. Cole is principal consultant at Catherine C. Cole and Associates, based in Edmonton, Alberta. Her clients include all levels of government, arts and museum funding bodies, and individual museums, galleries, and Indigenous organizations. In addition to her consulting practice, Catherine is a member of the executive board of the International Council of Museums (ICOM) and the Arts and Heritage Committee Chair for the Edmonton Community Foundation, among others. She shares her expertise in museology, Indigenous rights, and sustainable development through international speaking engagements and publications. Catherine is also a writer with her work focusing on voices less heard – women, working class people, immigrants, and Indigenous people. Catherine has served in the voluntary sector as a board member for the Edmonton Chamber of Voluntary Organizations, the Resource Centre for Voluntary Organizations at MacEwan, and the Ministers’ Advisory Committee on Charities. Catherine holds an M.A. in Canadian history from the University of Alberta.
