Carolina A. Potocar specializes in digital and audiovisual journalism. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication & Journalism (UCA) and has completed a Master's degree in International Studies (UTDT) -with a work-in-progress thesis. She summs more than 10 years of experience in Argentine media such as El Cronista, Grupo América and Clarín, where she has gone from web and multimedia reporter to editor, production coordinator and head of digital and video teams. She has also worked as a tactical and strategic mentor for local, hyperlocal and independent media in Argentina, Peru and El Salvador, all of it within programs backed by organizations such as SembraMedia, ADEPA, ICFJ and Meta. Today she teaches digital news production and editing classes at Universidad Católica Argentina and works as a Teaching Fellow for the Google News Initiative in Spanish-Speaking Latin America.
